Friday I met up with Ariana of 3TwentySix for a paper date. This is not a thing that I’m really aware of, but it for real should be a thing. Meet up with your friends and go to stationery stores. Or book stores. Wherever there is paper involved.
I drug Brownlee because we had to do some Best Buy shopping later but sent him off to the bar while we shopped.
We met up at Paper Source in City Centre and really probably should have had Brownlee there for supervision because we lost our minds. Brownlee knew it was going to be “trouble” when Ariana strolled up with her Kate Spade bag.
Nobody asked him.
We paced the store maybe……..five times total including a few circles around the planner table even though it’s already mid February. Doesn’t matter. Ariana is great at Instagram and I occasionally take pictures so we went with a photo theme for the giveaway. As far as personal shopping, well I NEEDED notebooks and a new pencil bag because mine was forcibly handed down to Addison despite the fact that she received a pencil bag in her Christmas stocking so I could get my pencil bag back. No dice. I got some Rifle Paper floral notebooks I’d been eStalking on Pinterest (why did y’all let me start a paper board) but pens and paper are to be bought in person to test the fine point, ink smudge factor, and to see how college ruled the paper is. We were really tempted to get some ban.do pens but they were in a box. Like. Why? These are the rules. I don’t make them up.
To make it an offiical date, I sprung for macarons from Sweet because Ariana apparently only had frozen ones?! I was utterly appauled. Like, that’s not the kind of life people need to be living.
Anyway we have some great goodies to give away and Ariana does a much better job of giving the deets and posting the pictures (because it’s her giveaway) so slide on over to her site and see what’s the what.

I'm sorry about eating the frozen macarons. I know it's like a sin in Macaron Heaven, but I'm totally in the know now that you've introduced me to the real deal!
We must schedule a once a month paper date. Because paper.
