You know how I always talk about a title=”The Robot Mommy” href=”http://therobotmommy.com/” target=”_blank”The Robot Mommy/a? Cause she’s so awesome. Well she’s part of a a Thank Coffee It’s Friday series. So I’m wondering if they’re on to something. I mean it’s Friday. You gotta be happy about something. So maybe a weekly check in on what you were thankful for at some point this week? As big as coffee, or as small as coffee. Something good had to have happened.
This week I am thankful for medium tier cable.
Whaaaaat? We dropped down our cable package. We used to have 450+ channels. And watched like 12 of them, including regular ol network tv. So I was like “hey guy, maybe we should consider dropping down and saving some moolah”. And Brownlee was all “what WHAT?!” but then we looked into it and the only thing we would missing is NBA channel and VH1 Soul…and HBO. But it doesn’t really matter does it because True Blood isn’t on. Thanks to the world of Twitter I was informed of all sorts of ways to catch up on my shows that I’m missing. And Brownlee found out that TONS of shows we DVR are already On Demand.
So now we pay $2 less for cable and internet than we were just paying for cable. And we even paid the extra $10 for HD.

What are you thanking Friday for?
this week I'm thankful for good friends. usually, I'm thankful for them every week, but this week has been a bit trying and my awesome friends helped me focus on the great as opposed to the not so great. osm. 🙂
