I truly just need to talk about Succession and Abbott Elementary.
Succession S3E8 (HBO)
The way I am absolutely not ready for this season finale. The way they just keep kicking my boy Kendall while he is down. I mean kicking and stomping him to a pulp. I am worried about how they left things with the pool scene. The bubbles were not a good sign.

Also I’m happy Shiv is finally being as ruthless as her brothers have been when in any position to leverage something against their siblings. And are they finally going to address that clearly something must have happened to Roman.
Abbott Elementary S1E1 – ABC
Quinta Brunson has a new show on ABC called Abbott Elementary. It’s about a Black school in Philly where they have budget problems and teachers keep quitting and the seasoned teachers are jaded but it’s hilarious I swear. It’s basically Addy’s school. It’s in the fashion of the “documentary crew is doing a study of our workplace” style. Think Parks & Rec more than The Office. Quinta is the hopeful, second-year teacher. There’s the overly woke white boy, also in his second year. There’s Sheryl Lee Ralph and Lisa Ann Walter as the seasoned vets. And Tyler James Williams is the new sub that has to come into the mess. The first episode was like a sneak peek and the season starts in January.
