Analog Girl Fall: Renaissance

It’s so good it’s so good it’s so good.

Quick Program Note: My blog is 12.

Okay anyway we are in the BER months. The unbearable heat of August has gone and here in Houston we are in the cool 95 degree days.

Fall is not a temperature, It’s a feeling.

And that means it’s the time when I “thrive”. This means I do my indoor activities in outdoor places. It’s time for photo strolls and wine outside with a lil book and some headphones. Outdoor journaling and fiddling on the computer. A lil sweatshirt action. Coziness.

The artists have revived their down south dates. I’m seeing Beyonce. I’m seeing John Mayer. I’m seeing Unknown Mortal Orchestra. I’m seeing Brittany Howard. Might just stop in some bar and catch random live music.

I might knit another scarf. Definitely gonna light the grill.

This fall I want to take little drives to nearby Texas towns and do some film photos. I promised Addy I’d take her to see some deer so like we just have to go to a park lol. It’s not like we’re trying to go full Snow White, she just wants to make a TikTok I’m sure.

Last Friday, to really kick it off, I shirked my work responsibilities and took myself to brunch. I highly suggest this to everyone. If you pass, I’ll take your turn.

Embrace it!

That is the best way to respond to anyone who has anything to say about what Fall is to all of us in the South. LOL! And it’s my favorite time of year for this exact reason–the way I feel. And even though it hasn’t been consistently cooler, the weather is much more bearable and I can enjoy my time outside, especially at night.
