Addison started 5th Grade today.
Last year we started her at virtual school for the first semester but that wasn’t an option this year. We have masks mandates (for now) and thoughts and prayers I guess? I can’t think too much about it or I go insane and I can’t not think about it because it’s all I can do to go out in the streets yelling. Whatever, we’re here for we’ll see how long. I’m not being pessimistic, I’m paying attention.
Anyway there’s no on-campus anything for the time being so I’m kinda bummed that I won’t get to do another book fair just yet. Hopefully next semester. Oh, as far as Addy goes, she said it was a good first day. Her school used to be a primary only (Pre-K – 2nd) so they’ve never been heavy on the amount of older kids but I think it’s cool that she’s been at the same elementary school the whole time and knows most of the kids. She’s even in the same class as the kid on the other side of the fence.
