Ballet.

Addy is taking ballet.

I could end this post right there.

But daycare has a lady come in every Thursday and teaches the girls.  Boys are allowed, there just aren’t any.  Anyway, I decided to let her do it for the Spring.  The teacher said 3 and up, but we talked with her and she didn’t think there would be any problems, so I bought some (more) leotards and tights and sent her to class.

I tried to get there in time to take pictures but not early enough to disrupt.

She was sitting on her piece of tape listening to the teacher and everything.  OMG.  Then she saw me and was all “MOMMY!” but she sat there (enough) and got stamps on her hand for sitting still and putting her hands on her head.

Anyway I know y’all don’t care.

Anyway, for like 5 hours she was like “I like a ballet”.  Just every so often she’d tell you “I like a ballet.” Or she would show you how to ballet.  

So that’s about how that went.  For all the hours in the evening.

So I’m excited she has something going on. I don’t plan to be one of those mom who fills every hour of children’s time with things to be done. But this is good and at least a start at fun and direction or whatever dexterity or whatever ballet is supposed to for little girls. It’s going to be fun.
