Our family schedule allows Brownlee to drop Addy off at daycare in the morning and I pick her up in the evening. I don’t know what they do in the morning but a typical ride home goes something like this.
Me: Hey Addy how was school today?
Addy: I went to class.
Me: Did you sing songs?
Addy: Yeah ABCD. Hey! My bag!
<I give her the bag>
Me: What else did you sin…
Addy: Mommy I want apple juice
Me: Ok but we’re in the car so I don’ t know how you expect me to…
Addy: Mommy I want grapesandswarberries
Me: Ok well we have to get home first because you know I don’t have that stuff. Look in your bag and see if you have…
Addy: <unzips bag> Oooh a nack!
Addy: MOMMY WHAT’S THAT?!
Me: you said it was a snack
Addy: NOOOO Mommy what’s that?
Me: Addy, mommy has to drive and can not look
Addy: A CAR! Mommy. Open nack.
<I open the snack and pass it back to her
Addy: Here mommy. Trash. MOMMY WHAT’S THAT?!
Me: A car?
Addy: No mommy a bus! MOMMY LOOK!
Me: Ok but mommy has to drive so she can not look.
Addy: <shrieks> AHHHH MOMMY A BUG!
Me: <finding a song to listen to>
Addy: MOMMY LOOK!
Me:
Addy: MOMMY LOOOOOOK!
Me: <glance backwards>
Addy: <does something with her hands>
Me: gang signs?
Addy: Triangle mommy.
Me: <finds “I Love It” on the radio>
Addy & Me: <yelling> “I DON’T CARE! I LOVE IT!
Addy: Mommy what’s that?
Me: I DON’T CARE! I LOVE IT!
Addy: MOOOOMMMMY Look! A rhombus
Me: What? What’s a rhombus? That sign that’s not a…
Addy: No mommy that’s a diamon.
Addy: MOMMY LOOK! YAYA’S CAR (any make/model/color Acrua)
Me: Yes Addy.
<silence for 45 seconds>
Addy: LOOK! Addy’s house! (the apartment complex that we don’t live in)
Me: Yes. We’re almost home.
Addy: Ok grapesandswraberries?
Me: Ok we’ll see what’s for snac…
Addy: LOOK! Daddy’s car! (Actually Brownlee’s )
Me: Yes. Let’s see if Daddy will open…
Addy: Daddy opendoor?
Me: Let’s go see.
Addy: HEY LOOK! ADDY’S HOUSE!!!
Elapsed time: 12 minutes.

never a dull moment! it\’s so entertaining.
The mornings are much more simple…I drive, she rides…I may get a "whoaaaa" if I turn a corner too fast or she may sing along with whatever song is playing….thats pretty much it.
Sounds like she's not necessarily a morning person (like Mommy) from what Brownlee is saying and she's definitely Chatty Cathy (like Daddy) after she gets going…perfect combo. ;D
