The Haul

We went Christmas shopping.  There was no plan or list or anything really.  Just a trip to Target to pick up some things we thought were cool and regular Target items.

What’s cool about Christmas shopping with an infant? She doesn’t care that the toys are going in the basket.  She was more concerned with getting out of the basket and people watching than caring what Mommy was comparing between Playskool and Fisher Price.

The thing is that I didn’t want to do too much because Brownlee likes to remind me constantly that she won’t remember this and yes there will just be pictures and that’s it blah blah but that doesn’t have anything to do with me buying Christmas gifts does it?!

I mostly got this cause T had one when she was little and I was like “whaaaaat they still make these?!” I said that when I saw Alphie too but that will be more down the road when she can form a complete, comprehensive sentence.

Then I came across this gem in the store and we had to get it.

Playskool Poppin Park Bounce N Ride.  Apparently it makes noises when you bounce on it and then you can scoot around or whatever.  Either way I think Addy will just beat the seat and make it beep at her.
And the Coup de Ville:

Playskool Poppin Park Elefun Busy Ball Popper.  OH MAN this looks fun.  I don’t even really know how it works I just know the balls pop up in the air.  It may or may not make noise and probably requires batteries but there’s a bajillion in the junk drawer anyway.  I got it cause it looked cool and Brownlee okayed it cause the side of the box said that it worked on hand-eye coordination.  Win.

The sucky thing is that now we have to wait until Christmas to open them and play with them.  UGH.  Addy is frustrated.

And Brownlee just sees more things that will be on the floor.  MEH.

And I just now realized that all of these toys match.  I normally am against all things matchy-matchy and totally didn’t do it on purpose but I guess Playskool is just winning…and I probably bought all the Fisher Price things that were cool already.

I also got a couple of stocking stuffer rattle things and she may or may not have gotten a pair of these…
