After some deliberation (amongst myself), I decided to go ahead and do NaNoWriMo this year. I consulted the rules forum and learned that as long as I do not refer to the previously written things, I can redo the Death story I attempted last year. Same characters and general idea but that’s really all I can use.
The idea is to write 50000 words from scratch (points to beginning of the line like that episode of Martin). No editing. No masterpiece of fiction. Just fresh ideas and words coming out of my brain onto my screen.
Am I crazy for doing this and trying to blog here and on WriterzBlock and starting a new job and having an 8-month old baby? Probably, but everyone who attempts to do NaNo is some degree of nuts.
And that’s what makes it fun.
So I’ll have to go ahead and download me a little word counter for the side bar. And keep some money on my Starbucks card to spend my Saturdays in November there. But I’m going for it.

I wish you would just rebel and use all of what you have for Death. But, I aint no writer, and anything you write will be good, soooo…good luck. God speed. 🙂
