Obviously (to those that are my friends on Facebook) we went to the zoo on Wednesday. 
There was a lot of research going into the stroller buying but Babies R Us failed us yet again. I was planning to get a Maclaren Volo or Triumph but they were out of stock of the Volo’s and the only Triumph was black and red and I passed on that. We “test drove” a few Mamas & Papas brands, mostly because Brownlee wondered what a $500 stroller was like. But they weren’t too impressive. We ended up with a Chicco Liteway and it is wonderful. More importantly, it fits in the hatch of the Mini snitches!!!
The zoo was fantastic. I haven’t been since elementary school so it was really for all of us (me, T, Brownlee, and Addy) to enjoy. 
Addy wasn’t really into the big animals that were off in the habitat napping (the weather was perfect napping weather, even for lions) but she did enjoy the birds and reptiles and fish that we could get right next to in the tanks. And everything was a photo op.
She was awake a long time. I was shocked because she was sleepy before we even got there but I guess being outside and seeing all the people were enough to keep her entertained.
But around 3:30 everyone was getting tired and we think we covered all the ground so we wrapped it up and took it home. 
It wasn’t bad at all but it also was a Wednesday and I don’t think we would have made it on a packed weekend or even if we had run into a bunch of fieldtrips. I have no idea how parents make it through Disney World. Just…baffling. Hopefully this will be a once a year skip work trip and take the kid to the zoo.
