The only thing I really keep up with is my Goodreads challenge (my profile) The goal for 2019 was 24 books. 2 a month. Between kindle, my bookshelf, my Audible subscription, and the library Overdrive app, I figured it was possible.
Twas. 32 completed (I finished the last one today, 12/31)
Around March? I realized I had only read women authors so I decided to let it ride. I haven’t missed much aside from Saeed Jones’ memoir and reading Good Omens since I loved the show so bad.
I think mostly I just realized how much women use reading as an escape from their lives. It was a common theme in a lot of the books. All the books? Is that not what books are for?
For measurement, a 3 means that I read it and wasn’t mad about it. A 5 means I probably have demanded you read it and shoved it at you online. All links go to Goodreads so you can read the synopsis.
