See My Desk.

I hope you had a good Mother’s Day.  Even if it was just a Sunday of sitting around on the couch.

I’m about to tell you about the awesomeness that happened on my side of the computer screen.  I got a new desk.  Well, a desk.  There was no old desk that it replaced.   My lap, I suppose.

I would like to say that Addy is just sitting her for picture purposes but she just climbed up in the chair like that and went to “work”.

And I’ve seen all this stuff on Pinterest with office set ups and the quirky askew wall hangings.  So I took my happy butt to IKEA for frames and hit up the in house graphics design team of 121 Creative Solutions, and Brownlee whipped up these beauties.

Hazaah!

And I had other accouterments.

I suppose it’s necessary I spend copious amounts of time here now. Dreaming up fiction and writing blogs.   I even created a Pandora station for The Black Keys to keep my butt in the chair.  In full disclosure I’m writing this on the ottoman because Brownlee was watching Reel Steel and I was drawn into the tale.  But tomorrow’s (or whenever I write again’s) blog will be from the desk!
