No tear-inducing slideshow this year. I got a toddler to chase!
Lately I’ve been in charge of kissing boo-boo’s. Any sort of bump on anything warrants a kiss to make it feel better. It’s cute until she like stubs a toe or whatever. The newest body part she’s learned is “elbow” so there are lots of elbow kisses. I’m sure this will be funny to my mom since a young Bre went through a phase when everything needed a band-aid.
The past couple weeks I’ve been trying to teach Addison that she will be 2 years old. The trouble with that is that she really just learned that her name is Addison. Confused? It goes like this:
Me: What’s my name?
Her: Mommy
Me: And what’s his name?
Her: Daddy
Me: And what’s your name?
Her: ADDISON!
Me: And how old are you?
Her: (silence)
Me: You’re 2!
Her: I ADDISON!
How can one be Addison AND 2? Boggles the mind.
We’re doing cupcakes at daycare and bouncy house birthday party Saturday. Exciting! So expect one more birthday party recap post Monday(ish).
Brownlee is supposed to make a new sheet for the next year so I need to figure out where we’re going to take the monthly pictures. I can’t stop!
And here’s some nice collages for ya 🙂
This past year
And birthday pics
And what’s a post like this without a little outtakes for ya. I specifically asked the kid to go sit in her chair so I could take pictures. She said no and ran off saying “I call YaYa now.” I bribed her with teddy bear cookies (Teddy Grahams) but still nothing. Finally she acted like she was going to sit in the chair for me and did this:
Happy Birthday Addison!!!
Happy birthday, Sweet Addy!! Your future playmate is waiting to meet you some day now that you share the same age. Speaking of sharing, you have my middle name. No worries. It's an awesome name. Fitting for a young lady like you!!
Love love love!!
LMAOOOOOO at the outtakes. 🙂
