I’ve seriously gotten to the point when I just say “she’ll be two in February”. I have no ability to add 12 and however many months she is to come up with an answer for moms in the park. Sorry park moms. A little.
Of course more words are being said everyday. The default animal is no longer a dog, it’s monkey. Case in point; something was buzzing around the house while Addy was eating her yogurt causing her to freak out. I mean full on little girl scream and waving her hands freak out. She was yelling and pointing going “MONKEY! MONKEY”.
It was a fly.
It was hilarious but I had to swat at the fly until it stopped bugging her and she could continue to watch Wow Wow Wubzy. Whatev.
Bedtime has gotten a tad easier. She really starts to let me know when she wants to go to bed. Not everything is answered with a “no”. So I’m like “are you ready to go night night?” “YES!” and she will nod her head and then thirty minutes later she’ll fall asleep in her bed. It will work.
We made great strides with the teeth brushing. I no longer have to trap her in a headlock or sit on her to shove the toothbrush in her mouth. Turns out she didn’t like the spinbrush any more, she likes this regular one with a light up handle. Yay. Well except she doesn’t like the toothpaste. But it doesn’t really work anyway so whatever.
Here’s the post!
And yes, she really does like Instagram. She knows how to open the app, click the camera part, turn the camera (Droid and IOS) face front, take the picture, and change the filter. Tiny tiny hipster.
Yay for no skin on apples and Naynee being mentioned! Lol @ MONKEY! MONKEY!
monkey?! lol.
