Normally I can’t remember what happened early in the day, let alone a week ago. That’s mostly why I write/blog/journal/doodle. To remember.

Anyway, it dawned on me that this is the end of September and this time last year I was in turmoil about what I was going to do when I got laid off. It wasn’t really a depression, just more like a what on earth are we going to do with a stay at home dad and a tiny baby. Go nuts? Go hungry? Go broke…r?
But we made it just fine. I didn’t make it to the point where I was going nuts trying to figure out what we were going to do. It just turned into a short vacation that we all got to spend together being silly all day. Can’t really be too mad at that. Not now anyway. Now Brownlee is loving his job, I’m loving mine, and Addy is loving daycare.
I’m not saying if I ran into my old boss I wouldn’t give him the finger, I’m not delirious, I’m just saying that the proper cliche is that everything happens for a reason.

you were delirious a year ago? if *that* was delirious…you, my dear, have one hell of a poker face. 🙂
