7th Grade

Seventh Grade started today.

What I remember about 7th Grade is The House on Mango Street ,and not walking a mile ever in P.E., and sustaining myself off Rice Krispies Treats and Fruitopias. It’s a different world now. There’s cell phones and smart watches and clear backpacks and online grades. But fortunately, we went through that in 6th grade. I would say we’ll be settled till high school starts but that’s a lie, I’m never settled.

*anxious

So yeah we got Texas History and full-on Art class and no sports so we’ll see how that goes. And there’s a high chance of field trips again but I’m not mentally prepared to be a middle school chaperone.

If you’ve been here for years and you’re wondering exactly how the baby you grew up looking at online for years is in seventh grade, I don’t know what to tell you. But here’s the photo you came here to see.
