The state closed the schools and we’ve been doing online learning class stuff whatever since like March 30th? Clearly I’m not the type to do a real schedule, instead we write down what we did each day so every day isn’t the same. There’s a lot of math based games, and books that read along with you and do quizzes yadda yadda. But they won’t be going back to school till 4th grade, whenever the hell that starts.
Typically we don’t do an end of the year interview but I decided to ask Addy a few questions to see how stuff is going.
How was third grade?
It was okay.
So what can you tell me about the coronavirus?
It’s contagious and kills people. So we have to do social distancing and wear masks and we can’t go out that often.
How’s school online?
It’s going good. It’s better online because the activities are better. The best is chatting with friends and FaceTime (Team meetings), The worst is I can’t really see them.
How are Mommy and Daddy going with being the teacher?
Good helpers. I really like the science experiments.
What if we have to stay in the house until 4th grade?
Well I’ll just get used to it. Except for no holidays off. I’m worried about how Halloween will work. We might have to just trick or treat in the house.
When social distancing is over, what’s the first thing you want to do?
Go to the trampoline park with my friends
The first thing I want to do is go to Hopdoddy for a burger and queso fries and a rum punch.
Yes!!! Include me in the Hopdoddy run. Addy is growing up through all of this. ❤️❤️
