We went to a Fancy Nancy book signing last week. Fancy Nancy is a book series about a little girl that’s fancy AF and the rest of her family is pretty plain Jane. They just released the last of the series, book #80. The girls were told to come as fancy as possible. Illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser talked to the girls about how the series was created, what a fun ride they’ve had, and what’s next for Fancy Nancy (a Disney series). Then she read the story, Oodles of Kittens, and signed the book. We also bought the first in the series for good measure. And kid authors will sign two books at a signing. I was shocked.
