It’s our anniversary! Hooray! We’ve been married a whole ass year.
I have no sage advice because why would I?
We’ve watched a lot of movies and Netflix. We’ve eaten a lot of pizza and complained about a lot of laundry but it’s really been business as usual. So I’m clearly pro shacking up for like 6 years and having a kid first and THEN getting married, but like I said, I have no advice for anyone else.
We are planning to get out of this apartment and move into a place with a yard. Not exactly my idea but I’ve learned that marriage is a situation of compromise in which you are always losing. Both you’s. Nobody is a clear winner ever.
Other than that I really just plan to get some balls and finish season 3 of Breaking Bad. I’ve gotten bad anxiety about Jesse Pinkman’s horrible decision making and it was too much to take and we have 2 episodes left and NO SPOILERS PLEASE. Also I have to figure out a way to pack up like 50 coffee mugs and not have Brownlee complain about the fact that I have 60 coffee mugs even though I’ve left like 10 at the office.
We went to fancy dinner Saturday night and we’ll all be doing regular dinner at Chick Fil A, Monday night because who wants to cook on their anniversary. Plus, frosted lemonade.

Happy Happy Anniversary, Brownlee's!! They stay the first year is the hardest, but in your case (mine too) we lived with them before the marriage so it makes it a hell of a lot easier to adjust!

Since it's your anniversary, you can at least add cheese to your chicken sandwich, or get even crazier and get the club one with lettuce and tomato. Treat yo'self. Happy Anniversary!
