Alrighty then.
Addy has been pretty funny these past couple months. Let’s say it’s because of the extended vocabulary but we think her sarcasm gene is starting to kick in.
Her new favorite phrase is “awkwarrrrrd” and she uses it in the perfect context. The other day she spilled juice down her shirt and looked at me and goes “awkwaaaaaaard”. If she farts in the middle of a sentence, “awkwaaaaaaard”. Like that.
Potty training is non existent. Whatever. The teacher of the 3 year olds told us that kids are usually trained in her class by the first month or two. I told her that was fantastic but I’m really just figuring one day Addy will walk over to the potty, remove her diaper, and handle her business and I will be sad I didn’t have my phone ready to catch it. I don’t plan to ever post potty pictures, but I’m not making any blog promises.
Ballet has been fun for her. So I suppose the next step is sports but I think they don’t teach 3 year olds anything other than soccer. I’m not game for being a soccer mom just yet.
The next big thing of course will be Addy’s 3rd birthday. I KNOW! Isn’t that crazy to read.
If you don’t follow along on Instagram or Facebook, you need to know that Addison has requested a Cinderella Spiderman party. She’s really into superheroes and equally into princesses. Obviously. And the first party was for me, and the second party was somewhat of a failure. I figure to just ask her and go with what she wants. So that’s what I get for asking a toddler.
Awkwaaaaaard. HILARIOUS! And kids aren't supposed to get sarcasm til they are like, 10 I think, so basically your kid is a sarcasm prodigy but WHO'S SURPRISED?
Addy is too cool cause a Cinderella Spiderman theme sounds uber awesome! LOL
