Mom Car

I got a new car.

It’s basically a total mom car.

And no we’re not expecting another kid anytime ever.

The Mini was 7 years old and I’ve had it 4 years and it was over 75K miles and before we got into major issues I figured with all the end of the year deals we should go look.

It’s a giant car with lots of doors and plenty of room in the back for whatever people put in the back of their cars.  I dunno.  In the Mini I had to let the back and passenger seats down to get a broom home from Target.

NO! You don’t know.

Don’t get me wrong.  I really like it.  I mean it’s everything I told the dude I wanted.  Silver.  Sunroof.  Connectivity blah blah package.  That just means it’s a touch screen radio/bluetooth/satellite radio.  And I can ride around like this.

Don’t question it.

And Brownlee made them throw in tint and a I <heart> VDub shirt!

Addy is having fun saying “oooh I like your new car” but then she goes and does shit like this instead of wiping her nose

And what’s worse is that now she’s 1.5 arms length away instead of .75 arms length so I can’t just reach back there and swat with full mom fury.  Whatever.

We’re adjusting.

But it has heated seats and now sometimes I’m expected to drive places because Brownlee is more comfortable in the front seats.  It has some fancy space age technology where you don’t need a key to drive it?! I’m amazed and baffled and constantly like “oh oh where is the key” because 2014 is the future.
