It should come at no surprise to anyone that I am not a homemaker type of person. I like to eat and I don’t have a messy home (don’t go look in my room right now) but I’m not just the type to want to MAKE things. Yes I will cook dinner, and I can probably sew a button back on to a shirt, but that’s the extent of my abilities. Because you can go out and buy things.
It had recently occurred to us in the grocery store that we have not actually let Addy make any food. We have a plastic grill for her. And she even has some fake Melissa & Doug cookies, but as far as getting in the kitchen and putting hand to dough, nothing.
It was time.
We put a pack of the Nestle Tollhouse break and bake cookies into the basket.
Silly me told Addy that if she ate all of her chickennoodles she could go ahead and make the cookies. Well she stopped eating and went into the pantry demanding cookies.
So we were like “no! no! we’re going to make them!” and Brownlee pulled out the pan and the cookies. We told her to sit on the moderately clean floor because we don’t have an island and the counters would be too high and not conducive to picture taking.

And then she ate crackers.

i took pictures but she was so over me that they all came out blurry. damn Club Crackers.
"Because you can go out and buy things." Amen. Or pay people to sew stuff for you.
