I’m linking up with Jessica from The Reinvention of Jessica to do a day in the life post.
Basically I take a picture every hour I’m up of what’s going on at the time. I tried to take each picture between :30 and :50 minute mark.
I should preface this post with the fact that I’ve put in my two week notice at my current job and will be starting a new new job later. But that’s another post for another day. Maybe one of the days I’m off.
Addy woke up next to me and made me 1) wake up and 2) get up and go watch Bubble Guppies
UP! As we walk out to daycare/work
Ready for the day. Sort of.
Pointless meeting #1462453902. Please note how someone was quoted as saying a different meeting was “nothing short of ridiculous”. Classic work quote.
“Smoke break” time as I schedule a blog for Sprocket Ink
P.F. Changs!!!!
Fighting the post-lunch sleepies with a Cafe Express Cafe Mocha.
Cafe Crap was more like it. Replaced with Starbucks whatever blend of delicious.
All done. (ie: skipped out early)
Someone pooped it up on the way home from daycare. I”m talking newborn pooped it up. A diaper of liquid mustard-colored poo that couldn’t be wiped off. A bath was necessary.
Someone needs to clean these blocks up.
Shake time. Milk only slightly expired. #livedangerously
Someone woke up. Or wouldn’t go to sleep. She was yelling urgently.
She took her earring out. Just the one.
Someone needs to fold my clothes. The Rockets are winning!
Progress.
Goodnight movie. #abide
That about sums up the randomness of almost every day.
Oooh love this post, I totally wanted to do a day in the life one day. My life is less exciting tho. Love your bored face. And that mug!
I must admit, this was pretty cool. And i'm sure if I have trouble doing Photo A Day, photo an hour would be damn near impossible…..plus I'm pretty much at my desk for 8 straight hours and nobody would find that interesting at all.
: Where was dinner!?
dinner must have been in the top half of the hour lol. 915? who knows
I love doing a day in a life posts! I’m planning one for this month now!
Your bored face CRACKS ME UP. And, my bed looks like that pretty much all the time…
i had a system of leaving things in the dryer until the dryer was empty then it was time to wash what was in the washer. then me and brownlee moved in together and he had 'rules' and what i was doing was 'wrong'. then i would just put all the clothes from the dryer onto the footboard. then we got a new bed and now i basically have to fold clothes. it's the worst.
You were not made for cubicle work, but I guess that's part of why you're leaving that job. I love that mustache mug! And, seriously, your daughter is too adorable!
I loved this. I basically know your life, but…still, pretty damn cool. 🙂
