Addytude

I realized I hadn’t done a real baby post in a while. I’m sure everyone loves the Wordless Wednesdays but I need to let you know what’s going on with the kid.

She’s a little person.

I didn’t sign up for a little person.

When we talked about having a baby I was like “yay I want a tiny baby”. And I got a tiny baby. But now I have a tiny person. With ADDYtude and preferences and things of that nature. What am I supposed to do with that?

Right now we’re dealing with fits. Full blown head back yelling fits. Why? Cause Brownlee wouldn’t share his chips.

You have two teeth. Do you really even know how good Lay’s are to where this fit is warranted? Where did this chip addiction come from.  And what do you do?  It’s hilarious to see a tiny body yelling on the floor in a fit.  And she’s too small to be beat.  So we stand and watch in amazement/irritation/hysterics.
Sometimes she’s super clingy and won’t even walk because she’s hanging on to my legs and wants me to pick her up. And sometimes she doesn’t even let me give her kisses, she’s pushing her little hand in my throat like “BACK UP! Mind ya business that’s all just mind ya business”.

This seems like a terrible two’s attitudinal switch. Why? She’s only 11 months. I’m just glad she can’t talk. And we’re constantly like “hey stop that. Stop. STOP. STOP!!!” and she’ll pause slightly then continue on as scheduled. Who told you to do these things? Your brain?! Why?!

But on the flip side, she’s pretty funny. She starts dancing and (attempting to) snap her fingers and soon as DJ Lance (Yo Gabba Gabba!) steps out on the TV. She’s the Gymboree class clown. Did you know that was a thing? She has all the parents in there cracking up every week now. She’s hilarious to “chase” around the house because any time you go to get her, it’s a chase. She loves to give kisses to kids…anywhere. We were in Learning Express the other day and she stopped two sisters to smother them with kisses.

So I guess it’s a trade off. But then what do you do when this happens:
